Yes, there are two versions to reset crash. I have both. One is this version: http://www.codecard.lt/carprog/software/carprog-airbag/carprog-cr16-airbag-tool-audi-mercedes-ford-volvo-airbag-sensors-with-cr16-processor-programmer/prod_99.html and the other is this version: http://www.codecard.lt/carprog/software/carprog-airbag/s5-1-vag-audi-vw-skoda-seat-airbag-reset-tool/prod_63.html Both work different for different systems and work perfect. |

I use VCDS to communicate with the controller and the CarProg also connects with the controller. I test the controller on the test bench. You said 2004 Golf but also mentioned MK5. You need to post the VIN and build date to have the correct information. I am guessing this is what you have: 1K0 909 605 H is a on CAN The body of the controller is ground (Battery -) T75/1 is Battery + T75/26 is Battery + T75/74 is CAN low T75/75 is CAN high The CapProg and the VCDS should be connected as suggested. |
