SPEEDSTOP - Plug and Play KM freezer for Mercedes W222, W205

Product Information

For Mercedes cars testing. While car drive test is possible to stop (freeze) odometer counting.

Plug and Play device with easiest connection way possible, no soldering is required in the installation process.

Works with :

Mercedes C-class: W205 V205 S205 C205 A205;
Mercedes V-class: W447 with color LCD;
Mercedes S-class: W222 C217 A217 to year 2018,
Mercedes GLC: W253
Mercedes GT/GTS: C190/R190,

Mercedes SPEEDSTOP Installation

Remove the instrument cluster and disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
Remove the original white frame from the connector.
Install the white frame onto the SPEEDSTOP male connector.
Connect the other side of the SPEEDSTOP to the vehicle’s instrument cluster connector.
Make sure the arrows on both connectors point in the same direction.

Using SPEEDSTOP on W222, W205 and others:

For SPEEDSTOP activation press quickly 3 time "Return" button on steering wheel (hazard indicator on speedometer blinks every time when working mode are changed):

MODE 1 ---> Push 3x Return button = Odometer freeze, Speedometer not works.

MODE 2 ---> Push 3x Return button = Odometer freeze, Speedometer show actual speed ( Speedometer working! ). In MODE 2 you have possibility adjust speedometer scale. If speedometer shows car speed lower then the real car speed, push "Arrow UP" button on steering wheel while driving. After 3s speedometer pointer will start slowly go UP. Release "Arrow UP" button when pointer will reach actual speed. Same with "Arrow DOWN" button – you can adjust speedometer pointer to lower side by pushing "Arrow DOWN" button for 3s.

---> Push 3x Return button = back to normal mode.

After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.

FAQ:

Board computer BC not work correctly with Mrecedes SPEEDSTOP and it's NORMAL. Car computer can't calculate these values without knowing drived kilometers. With SPEEDSTOP activated, cluster BC ( Average fuel consumption, Current fuel consumption, Fuel ) will show incorrect values. After SPEEDSTOP deactivation you must RESET board computer from MENU. After this BC will start to work correctly again.

In MODE2 speedometer pointer show wrong car speed: you have possibility adjust speedometer scale. If speedometer shows car speed lower then the real car speed, push "Arrow UP" button on steering wheel while driving. After 3s speedometer pointer will start slowly go UP. Release "Arrow UP" button when pointer will reach actual speed. Same with "Arrow DOWN" button – you can adjust speedometer pointer to lower side by pushing "Arrow DOWN" button for 3s.
