Facelift Software Identification

VAG vehicles produced after June 2024 may be released with facelift versions that include an updated electrical system software.
These upgraded vehicles can be identified by checking the multimedia software (SW) version:

Menu path:
Car Settings → General Settings → Version Information → SW Version

SW version interpretation:

• 3xxx – Older software version → SPEEDSTOP works
• 4xxx – Facelift / updated software version → SPEEDSTOP does NOT work

Speedometer, drive assistance systems (ADAS) works correctly in all modes.  

Using SPEEDSTOP on Skoda Enyaq : (speed indicator on cluster 5km/h blinks every time when working mode are changed­): 


 

• Mode1:  Push  5x High beam light switch (speed indicator on cluster show 5km/h 1 time)  = Odometer freezed (after 100 km will turn 0 km), Speedometer works normal;
• Mode2:  Push  5x High beam light switch (speed indicator on cluster show 5km/h 2 time)  = Odometer freezed 10% (after 100 km will turn 10 km), Speedometer works normal;
• Mode3:  Push  5x High beam light switch (speed indicator on cluster show 5km/h 3 time) = back to normal mode, Odometer and Speedometer works normal.

After Ignition OFF/ON SPEEDSTOP keeps selected working mode.

If you remove SPEEDSTOP adapter after test drive, odometer not changing.
