S7.6 VDO dash decrypt tool

Hello everyone,

I just received back from Raimis my repaired CARPROG and after updating the software I connected it to the EEPROM of a Audi A6 4F dashboard.

Regardless of what I do, it always read a PIN of 1009, 1048032 Km, and a set of garbage for the VIN. It is the same reading I had before sending the device to repair.

Any suggestion on what I am doing wrong?

The correct year and a sample of the dump would help. Post the type of IC that was read. Sometimes the dump needs to have the bits swapped for a correct read.

Hi Agostino,

The dash is from my 2005 4F A6 Avant and the program does not read the memory at

It reads the same garbage with or without a A6 connector plugged in, and there is no dump, it is all 0s.

So far the both of you have not posted the correct year of the models you complain of, the eeprom type or a sample of what was read in both of those models.
Each system is different, some are read as a 93C86 and others are read direct to the DLC via CAN.
Post better details and you can get an answer or help.

Hi Agostino,

I tried to read the 93C86 from 2 Audi A6 4F5, one is a cluster 4F0 920 932 RX, the second is a 4F0 910 930 A. Got a dump from the latter (not with carprog)

Hello!

I have a problem. I read through it the PIN with S7.6 but the cluster does not accept it.
Skoda Fabia I. 2007. Cluster number is:6Q0-920-842B
Can anybody help me what is a problem?

You should begin a new post for your problem with a link to a dump.
Include
Year
Make
Model
Part number of cluster

I have tried that model before just with a dump and I did see the PIN. Sometimes you need to wait a minimum of 5 minutes before adaptation. That is the new VW and Audi strategy before adaptation.

Is this the same post as the A6? If you're trying to read the eeprom and get that PIN. NO it will never work. Read the PIN using the:
DASHBOARD > AUDI > A6 CAN 2003- v0.9 and read it via DLC (Data Link Connector)

You should read and post the dump for that Fabia. Then you should post what tool you used to input the PIN. There is a wait time for those clusters.

Hi all,

I just purchased your programmer CARPROG and after a software update, I connected it to the EEPROM of dashboard 8P0920981 Audi A6. If necessary, send a dump.

No matter what I do, he always read the PIN 1009, 1,048,032 miles, and set debris on the VIN.
What am I doing wrong?
