how do you identify if you have rb8 dash etc on vw

| hello can anyone tell me how to identify a rb8 dash etc on vw golf 2001 model so i can do km adjustment or do i just read/write eeprom and enter 0000 as mentioned in other post and wait. because when i select rb8 then press read/write eeprom another window pops up asking for pin etc. thanks |

| Hi I doesn't ask for pin it only ask to enter number from 0000 to FFFF. If you are working first time with that dash then i recommend to enter number 0000 and push START. After lr reader finds password it will do requested operation. If you want to do other functions then you simply enter password you've got and push START. regards, Andrius  |
