| Hi A friend of mine was using your login reader on the audi tt year2002 when he read the eeprom and saved the file. the login was displayed and so was the correct mileage in your software. Once he changed the mileage to a new value 9999999km is played now. Also when you go in with the vag now, in the instruments for the part numbers you see is xxx xxxx etc. Car won't start either. How do you go about correcting this now? |

| hi, strange, this model should not work with basic version at all to support A3, A6, Allroad, TT models from year 2002 update U1 should be installed http://www.codecard.lt/dash/login-reader-update-for-a6-tt-magneti-marelli-crc-repair-by-diagnostic/prod_28.html you can try to restore original dump (read before changing) do you have some 912 programmer please? (912DG128 inside) maybe you can upload this dump using login-reader? can you read eeprom now? regards Raimis |

| Hi Some new magneti mareli dashes with checksums are working like without checksum so there is small posibility that you have encauntered one of these. KM was changed but crc was not changed so because of that you get 9999999KM on the dash.. If you have read file before changing KM you should be able to restore it by writing it to the dash. Send the dump to me andrius@codecard.lt say what km you want i'll change it and change CRC. regards, Andrius |
